The workshop CITY:PLAY:EXPLORATION deals with the exploration of private and public space through playful activities. By using the physical world as a game board, players are stimulated to rediscover the real world around them in a new and playful way.

How do rules function in public space? What are formal and what informal (social) rules? How can you design your own rules? And what happens if your rules conflict with rules of the outside world?

Within the workshop these topics will be discussed and own game ideas will be developed in small groups.
