The movie is based on CBS news from Oct. 2, 2006 about the ordered tight security curfew to break the curve of violence and the difficult and dangerous situation in the streets of Baghdad. The movie is made in the games Battlefield 2 and The Sims 2 and is made in 3 days for the Machinima Competition organized by Holland Animation Film Festival, Mediamatic and Virma.
Intentio Luminis is an 3D computer animation of two fishes traveling through all four elements (earth, water, air, fire) while following a ray of light. The story is inspired by the Greek myth of Ikarus, who flew too high to the sun and burned. The animation can be seen as a virtual dance, that tells the story through movement.
